The new Prospex Diver’s watch takes inspiration from the natural paradise of Fitzroy Island; a hidden gem nestled along the Great Barrier Reef. As part of Seiko’s global Save the Ocean initiative, Seiko Australia is proud to continue its partnership with the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre (CTRC), an organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured sea turtles back into the wild. Through this partnership, Seiko has adopted a rehabilitating turtle named ‘Kame’ (Japanese for turtle) whose recovery journey will be shared with audiences across Seiko Australia’s social media platforms. This unique initiative allows Seiko enthusiasts to follow the turtle’s progress, from rescue to release, while learning more about marine conservation efforts.
In addition, a portion of every watch sale will be donated directly to the CTRC, further supporting their vital work in protecting Australia’s marine life and ecosystems.
Limited to 1,000 pieces, each watch will be individually numbered and presented in a teal-coloured box, encased with white packaging that reflects the tropical beauty of Fitzroy Island.
