Over 100 Years of Fine Jewellery
A century of jewellery. A very personal way of doing things.
Since 1924, Fishers Jewellers has been part of the Northland community, helping generations of customers mark the moments and people that matter most.
Today, we combine that heritage with a very different kind of jewellery experience. From selecting the right diamond or coloured gemstone to designing a completely individual piece, much of what we do begins with a conversation.
With specialist diamond and gemmological expertise, jewellery valuation and an in-house workshop, we can guide a piece from the first idea through design and manufacture, as well as remodel, restore and care for jewellery already filled with history.
Our philosophy remains simple: Customers for Life.

Jewellery Made Personal
Jewellery is personal. It can celebrate a beginning, remember someone important, mark an achievement or carry a story from one generation to the next. We believe the experience of choosing or creating it should be personal too.
At Fishers Jewellers, that means taking the time to understand what matters to you. Whether we are sourcing diamonds internationally, selecting a coloured gemstone, creating a new piece, remodelling jewellery you already own, restoring something precious or valuing it for the future, our advice begins with listening.
That personal relationship is what we mean by Customers for Life.
The Fishers of Today
More than a century after Fishers Jewellers began, our focus is firmly on the future.
We believe the role of a great jeweller is about much more than selling jewellery. It is about knowledge, craftsmanship and trust — understanding what a customer is trying to achieve and having the expertise to bring it to life.
Today, Fishers brings together specialist diamond and gemstone knowledge, custom jewellery design, an in-house workshop, remodelling and restoration, and professional jewellery valuation — all from our Whangārei home.
Some things have changed enormously since 1924. Others haven't.
Beautiful jewellery should be made well, chosen carefully and mean something to the person who wears it.
That is what we intend Fishers Jewellers to stand for for the next 100 years.
